TPO Compounds

PP/EPDM blends for high-impact exterior and weathering applications

Product Overview

Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) compounds are PP/EPDM-based blends offering excellent impact modification, UV resistance, and low-temperature performance. TPO is the material of choice for large-area automotive exterior parts and roofing membranes where a combination of stiffness, impact resistance at sub-zero temperatures, and long-term weathering durability is demanded. Our TPO formulations are engineered with carefully balanced PP/EPDM ratios and reinforced with selected impact modifiers, UV stabilizers, and nucleating agents to achieve the optimal balance of flexural modulus and low-temperature impact resistance. The paintable surface of our automotive TPO grades eliminates the need for adhesion promoters in many painting lines, reducing process steps and cost. Roofing and geomembrane TPO grades are formulated with higher EPDM content and advanced UV stabilizer packages rated for 20+ year outdoor service life. Our TO-2000UV grade is specifically engineered for reflective roofing applications where heat-island mitigation is required, combining high UV reflectance with outstanding weathering resistance. All grades are free of heavy metals and comply with automotive OEM material specifications.
