Our Quality Assurance Process
Quality is built upstream — at every stage from supplier selection to batch certification, not just detected at final inspection.
Raw Material Inspection
Every incoming lot — resins, plasticisers, stabilisers, flame retardants, pigments — is inspected against approved specifications before release to production.
SOP-Controlled Production
All compounding runs follow documented Standard Operating Procedures. Temperature profiles, screw speeds, mixing times, and cooling rates are monitored in real time.
In-Process & Final Testing
Six categories of physical, electrical, and thermal testing are performed on every production batch. Deviations trigger immediate hold and re-inspection.
Documentation & Dispatch
Every batch is assigned a unique code with full traceability to source material lots. COA, TDS, and test reports are generated before goods are released for dispatch.
Every step is documented under ISO 9001:2015 — supporting full customer audits, regulatory submissions, and traceability investigations.
Quality Control

Calibrated equipment, traceable test methods, certified to ASTM, IEC & UL standards.
In-Process Monitoring
Internal SOPMelt flow index, colour, and dimensional checks performed during extrusion at defined intervals. Any deviation triggers immediate process adjustment and material hold.
Physical Property Testing
ASTM D638, D2240Tensile strength, elongation at break, and Shore A/D hardness tested on every production batch. Results compared against approved TDS range and customer specification.
Dielectric Strength Testing
IEC 60243 / ASTM D149High-voltage breakdown testing on all electrical-grade compounds — PVC insulation, ZHFR, and TPE cable grades — to verify electrical insulation integrity.
Heat Aging Tests
IEC 60811 / ASTM D573Oven aging at 100°C / 168 hours. Post-aging tensile retention and elongation retention measured to verify long-term stability at the compound's rated temperature.
Flame Retardance Testing
UL94, ASTM D2863, IEC 60754LOI, vertical burn (UL94 V-0/V-1), and horizontal burn on FR grades. ZHFR grades additionally tested for halogen content (IEC 60754) and smoke density (IEC 61034).
Oil & Chemical Resistance
ASTM D471, ISO 1817Immersion testing in IRM 902/903 reference oils, common acids, and alkalis. Volume swell, mass change, and tensile retention measured against specification.

Daman Plastic holds ISO 9001:2015 certification covering the design, development, and manufacture of PVC, ZHFR, TPE, TPR, TPV, TPO compounds and Master Batches at our Daman facility. Maintained through annual surveillance audits by an accredited certification body.
